Why do men want to get married

Most men want to get married because they want love, but what "love" means to every man is different. Generally speaking, men want to get married because they think they are going be happier in marriage. Why would anyone to get married if they thought they would suffer? So, of course, men want to get married if they think they will be happier in marriage.

If a man doesn't want to get married, it means that he doesn't want to married to a specific woman or he doesn't beleive anymore that he can be happy in any marriage. Not all men want to be married, because not all men beleive they can be happier in any marriage.

Most people behave according to their values and what they think will make them happy. Some men have emotional scars and emotional wounds, so they are affraid to get married. Other men, don't want to get married simply because they aren't interested in marriage.

Someone can say "Oh, men get married because they want a lot of sex" No, it's not quit true. If men just wanted sex, they could find it with any woman and it would be a lot easier than getting married. Men don't just want sex, but men want sex with a woman who they love or value and who loves him or appreciates him back too.

Marriage vs commitement

What if your man wants to be with you but he doesn't want to marry you? There are many men who would rather stay in a committed relationship without ever getting married. Why is that? Simply put, a man has other priorities in his life than loosing you. If he knows you want to get married and he knows you won't wait for him forever, he will have to make a quick decision, he could loose you if his desire to be single is stronger.

Each of us has certain priorities in life. What is priority to your man can be different from your priorities or someone's priorities. Everyday we have to decide for ourselves what is important for us in life and then, we behave according to our priorities.

Should you be angry if your man decides to let you go? No, you shouldn't. Be confident that you will find a man who will appreciate you more and value you as much as you want to be valued. If can be sad if marriage is important for you but is not for him, you could be sad that you trusted him to get married, but do not let your feelings to control your destiny.

Take control of your life

You are in control of your life and not anybody else. Don't let anyone discourage you from pursuing what you want. If you want to get married, you need find a man who wants to get married.

Why shouldn't you convince a man to marry you?

How would you feel down the road if you knew your man married you just because you want it? Wouldn't it feel better if you married a man who actually wanted to marry you? You decide what you want and go from there.

If you have kids, then I'm not sure what is the best in those situations.

Yes, some men do want to marry. Some men beleive marriage is very important and that they really want it. It is possible to find a man who wants love and marriage and everything. You should not give up your dreams or hopes if you really want something and if it's important for you. When you really want something in your life, it will come true only if keep pursuing it. If you don't pursue it, then it means you don't really want it.

Being committed to your true values is very important or otherwise you wouldn't be truly happy.

In reality, being married or not being married, isn't either bad or good. It's good or bad only what we chose it to be. Men can be happy being married or being single, we decide what every situation really means to us.
