Tall pregnant women
I'm a tall pregnant woman.
This is my first baby.
I'm having a baby girl and when my husband found out it's a girl he immediately said "I hope she will be as tall as you, it will be so neat." He really desires to have a tall daughter. I'm so glad.
He really likes me being tall.
My parents never praised me for being tall when I was growing up, so it's nice to hear my husband likes me very tall!
He is very proud of my extreme height and how I look. His love and affection for me as a very tall woman heals my heart and wounds from growing up being so different.
I never heard much praise about my height from strangers either, usually "How tall are you?" or "Do you play basketball?" Isn't the most pleasant to hear because it's so neutral in it's meaning.
So, I'm really glad my husband is able to appreciate my extreme height and looks.
If you are tall and thin like me, if it's your first baby, your pregnant belly probably won't be very noticeable to others for quit long time but only will notice some changes at first.
More about being pregnant and being tall
Honestly, I feel huge, but when I wear a shirt or a sweater over, no one can really tell if I'm pregnant.
I was always very skinny, had a very flat stomach, but now I look probably more like an average woman, so others can't really tell if I'm pregnant or not yet and I'm four months now at my picture on left.
When I pull shirt up or wear a very tight shirt, then my bump is more noticeable.
I can tell and see the difference how much larger I become every month, but most people can't really tell that I changed that much yet.
Being pregnant is not much fun though. I haven't met a woman who would really enjoy pregnancy. It's nice to have a baby, but going through so many changes and never know what to expect can be emotionally draining.
Gaining weight isn't a fun part either. If women were encouraged and praised for being big, heave and large, then it would be less stressful to go through pregnancy. Some days I really wonder if I just ate too much pizza of if it's my baby growing. Bib belly from food or from baby. Probably just baby, but it makes you very self conscious though.
Being tall and being pregnant expect to draw more attention from people.
Dealing with morning sickness
If you are very tall but not shy, more power to you. Many tall women are very self conscious about height and being tall pregnant woman would make it even more interesting to people. It's rare to see a very tall woman, but very pregnant tall woman even more rare.
Morning sickness is really underestimated term. They need to call it something like "Horrible sickness" and it's not just in the morning but can be all day and all night too. And for me it wasn't just slight nausea, but pain and weakness all over the body.
It felt much worse to me than I heard about it. I really underestimated the torture pregnant women have to go through with morning sickness. I don't know, maybe I had the worst case, but I didn't have much power even to sit or walk, all I had energy is to lay in bad and hope it will be over soon.
I lasted from 6 weeks up to 14 weeks and I was affraid it will never end. I feel much better now though. I forgot all the pain and torture I had to go through with morning sickness and feel a lot happier now.
So, yes, I'm tall and pregnant. I'm glad I can share something about my experience to help other tall women or short women who go through the same right now.
Middle part of pregnancy (or second trimester) suppose to be the most pleasant. No morning sickness right now, not too heavy and not too uncomfortable yet. Looking forward to my next journey!
